Mei Hou Wang – Monkey King:

Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Velajuel is the only Fire monster in Summoners War, that can remove all harmful effects on allies, and grant Immunity on them for 3 turns. He is very useful in most PvP content, and if runed correctly, he can also deal decent damage with his second skill.

Brandia – Polar Queen:

Type: Attack

Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege, Rift Beasts, Raid

With her third skill, “Touch of Mercy,” Brandia can deal a tremendous amount of damage to a target monster. If you’re looking for big single target damage, Brandia is one of the best choices that you can make. She is not extremely hard to rune because she has 111 base SPD (which is pretty high), and the other stats are also pretty good for an attack monster.

Okeanos – Sea Emperor:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Fire Scroll, Legendary Scroll

Okeanos is a pure PvP monster, as all of his skills effectively control other monsters. He can stun multiple enemy monsters and recovers his own Attack Bar by 25% for each stunned enemy, enabling him to get an additional turn instantly. Also, he can remove one beneficial effect with his second skill, and resets the target’s attack cooldown to max. Okeanos should be as fast as possible, so giving him a Swift set would be recommended.

Daphnis – Fairy King:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Fire Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

Daphnis is perfect for sniping one monster, as his skill weakens the enemy’s Defense before he attacks with full damage. This attack “Hellfire” also removes all beneficial effects on the target, so he can even deal with invincibility effects. Overall, he is very useful in Guild War/Siege, as most players only use one damage dealer in their defenses.

Bellenus – Druid:

Type: Defense
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Fire Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Tower of Ascension

Bellenus is very powerful in teams that focus on Crowd-Control. He can debuff the enemy monsters with two of his skills, weakening their Defense, and inflicts continuous damage. In his Beast Form, his attack power gets increased ba 100%, making him a serious threat as he also deals increased damage based on how many harmful effects an enemy has.

Baleygr – Lightning Emperor:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Fusion Hexagram
Useful for: Raid, Rift Beasts

With a standard Raid team, collecting decent legendary Grind Stones takes a lot of time. However, Baleygr changes the game completely. If 3 players use a specialized team with him, you can clear Raid level 5 in 28 seconds or less, enabling you to collect Gems, and Grind Stones much faster. Definitely a must-have monster for Raid speed teams.

Masha – Beast Rider:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Temple of Wishes, Fire Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Masha is a strong DPS unit, which should be as fast as possible. Not only has she has the second-highest base SPD in the entire game (123 SPD), but she can also deal crazy damage to enemy monsters. With her second skill, she will decrease the enemy’s Defense for 1 turn, and attacks immediately after that. Masha will also absorb the enemy’s Attack Bar by 25% for each harmful effect granted on the enemy.

Her passive “Wild Steps” increases the Attack Bar increasing effect on herself by 50% and decreases the Attack Bar decreasing effect on herself by 50%. Also, her own attack SPD increases by 15%, whenever her Attack Bar increases due to skills up to 5 times.

When her second passive skill “Rider” is activated, Mahsa will dismount the beast to battle when she’s inflicted with damage that causes her to die.

Jeogun – Art Master:

Best Water Nat 5 in Summoners War:

Verad – Dragon:

Type: Defense
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege, Tower of Ascension

Definitely, a key monster for clearing the Tower of Ascension in Hard more. His kit is fantastic for controlling enemies, as he has two freezes, and can reset the Attack Bar down to zero. Not only that, his skills scale with Defense, so he can deal decent damage too. Everyone should have one in their gallery.

Anavel – Occult Girl:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege, Raid

A fantastic supporter for PvP, and even PvE content. She can sleep enemies, weaken their Defense, heal, and remove all harmful effects on ally monsters. Anavel works very well with many monsters, that have AoE skills like Verad. However, she should have enough SPD, HP, and Atk, to get the most out of her.

Shi Hou – Monkey King:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Great unit for PvP content that is also able to win a 1v2 or even a 1v3 fight. His high base SPD (115) makes him very easy to rune, and thanks to his skills, he works flawlessly on multiple rune builds. Recommended sets are Violent or Vampire, but he can also be built on Fatal or Swift for beginners.

Woosa – Pioneer:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Extremely useful monster for the Arena, as he grants Immunity and a strong shield on all ally monsters. With “Mountain’s Power,” he can also recover allies HP by 15%, based on his max HP. His 41% Accuracy leader skill is a bit more situational, but it can be used in every kind of content.

Theomars – Ifrit:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Ifrit Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege, Dungeons

Very unpredictable on Violent runes, and well known for his destruction (like Perna). He can hit very hard, as always has an attribute advantage if he attacks. His passive skill “Elemental King” also gives him the Endure effect if he receives a deadly attack.

Note: The Endure effects prevents Theomars from dying until the effect gets removed by another monster, or he gets another turn.

Bastet – Desert Queen:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege, Rift Beasts

Bastet is one of the best Attack Bar pushers in the game, despite her low base SPD of 99. With her third skill, she not only increases the Attack Bar of all ally monsters by 25%, but she also increases the attack power and creates a shield that is proportionate to her level.

Bastet can put debuffs on other monsters as well, like weakening their Defense, disturbing HP recovery, reducing their attack power, and increasing the chance of landing a critical hit. Overall, a fantastic unit for PvP and Rift Beasts.

Psamathe – Fairy King:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Like Vanessa, Psamathe also has a 33% SPD leader skill for all Arena Content. However, he is very different from Vanessa. First of all, he can increase the cooltime of enemy monsters by 1 turn with his skill “Overwhelm.” With his first skill, he can decrease the chance of landing a critical hit, but what makes him so special is his passive skill “Rageful Return.”

If Psamathe gets killed by an attack, he will revive himself with 30% HP and deals significant damage to all enemies by using Overwhelm. If we give him enough damage, this skill can wipe out entire teams.

Mo Long – Panda Warrior:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

Mo Long is a great unit to deal with high HP or tanky monsters. His skill “Reckless Assault” damages the enemy by 70% of his HP, but he receives the same amount of damage as well. So, if we bring the target monster under 70%, he will always kill with this skill.

In addition to that, he also has a skill that attacks three times, removes beneficial effects and stuns with a 25% chance each attack. He gets often used with Perna and Ritesh, creating a strong defense that is very unpredictable.

Amelia – Unicorn:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Amelia is another strong supporter in Summoners War, as she gives Immunity every turn, increases the Defense of ally monsters by 2 turns, and removes all harmful effects. In her Unicorn Form, she can also freeze and provoke a target monster. She works excellently with defense scaling units like Copper or Verad.

Bolverk – Lightning Emperor:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

Bolverk is a powerful healer under certain conditions. Every time a beneficial effect gets granted (by you or the enemy), he will gain Knowledge. With 5 Knowledge, he can decrease the enemy’s HP by 50% (10% per Knowledge) and heals all allies by the decreased HP.

For example, if he uses his skill with 5 Knowledge, and decreases a target monsters HP by 15.000, he will then heal all allies by 15.000 HP.

This skill “Forbidden Galdr” can be used if Bolverk has at least 1 Knowledge, but all his Knowledge gets consumed once the skill is used. However, in combination with a Shield/Will set, and a monster like Velajuel or Amelia, he can get up to 5 Knowledge very fast.

Barbara – Beast Rider:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Barbara is a unit that shares many similarities with other monsters. With her second skill, “Fast Link,” her beast weakens the Defense of a target, and the rider’s attack will absorb the Attack Bar of the enemy by 25% for each harmful effect granted.

With her third skill, “Start of Attacking,” she removes all beneficial effects on a monster and ignores the enemy’s Defense based on how many effects got removed (35% per effect). Afterwards, the Attack Bar of all ally monsters will be increased up to 50%, in proportion to the enemy’s lost HP from this attack.

Barbara shares the same passive skill “Rider” with all the other Beast Riders as well. When this passive is activated, Barbara will dismount from the beast to continue the battle, if she gets inflicted with damage that will cause her to die.

Haegang – Art Master:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Temple of Wishes, Water Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Decent supporter for Guild and Arena content. His passive skill “Art of Blank Space” increases the Attack Bar of all allies by 25% each time an enemy removes harmful effects. With his second skill, “Moon Drawn by Clouds,” he will attack all enemies to remove all beneficial effects, and to increase the chance of landing a glancing hit for 2 turns with a chance of 50%.

Best Wind Nat 5 in Summoners War:

Teshar – Phoenix:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Dungeons, Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Probably one of the best monsters to farm dungeons very fast, not only because he has the highest base Atk (1098 Atk)in the game. Every time he eliminates a monster with his skill “Tempest,” it becomes instantly reusable. Also, his Attack Bar gets increased by 20% per defeated enemy, making him excellent for Secret Dungeon farming.

Seara – Oracle:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

Seara is, without any doubt, the best “bomber” in Summoners War. Not only is she able to place a bomb on one enemy and immediately gets another turn, but she can also detonate all placed bombs on the field with her skill “Promised Time.”

Besides this, Seara can increase her Attack Bar up to 45% if she lands three critical hits with her first skill. To deal as much damage as possible, giving her a Fatal set is recommended, but most players use a Violent set on her.

Leo – Dragon Knight:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

A fantastic bruiser who is capable of winning even 1v3 fights. His second skill, “Torrent,” Leo, can completely ignore the enemy’s Defense when his HP falls below 30%.

His passive “Eye of the Storm” limits the attack speed of all enemies and allies to his attack speed, making him basically the fastest monster in the game. The best rune set for him is Vampire, so he can restore a massive amount of HP when Torrent ignores the enemy defense.

Xing The – Monkey King:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

Like the other Monkey Kings, Xing Zhe is another bruiser. Because he has 117 base SPD and almost 12k HP, he is relatively easy to rune. His passive makes him a lot more durable, as inflicted damage gets decreased by 35% and allows him to counterattack with a chance of 35% when an ally is attacked. His second skill is also useful, as it has a chance of weakening the enemy’s Defense, and recovers his Attack Bar by 50%.

Eladriel – Archangel:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

Another monster that is well known for many additional turns. We can find Eladriel most of the time in Guild War/Siege defenses, as he has a strong heal and can revive multiple allies with one skill. His high Defense and HP stats make him very tanky, and his 110 base SPD rounds up his kit.

Ritesh – Beast Monk:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

As mentioned earlier, a popular defense line up is Ritesh, Perna, and Mo Long. In this team, Ritesh provides a strong single-target heal, AoE armor-break, and taunting. Ritesh also increases his attack SPD for 2 turns, when he lands a critical hit with his first skill. Overall, he is still a strong monster and works best on a fast, Violent rune build.

Ethna – Hell Lady:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege

There are not many monsters out there that can kill a Theomars in one turn, even if he activates his passive. With her skill “Capture,” Ethna attacks a target 5 times, to remove a beneficial effect with each attack, and stunning the enemy for 1 turn with a chance of 30%. Like Raki, she can also weaken the Defense on multiple targets with “Shatter” and increasing her Attack Bar by 10% each when the attack lands as a critical hit.

Most players give her a fast Despair set, so Ethna can stun with her second skill too. She is very useful in Guild Content, to counter specific units like Theomars. But she can also be used in the Arena without any problems.

Tiana – Polar Queen:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

With Tiana, you do not need to be afraid of stuns, oblivion, armor-break, or weakened attack. By simply using her skill “Wind of Changes,” she removes all harmful and beneficial effects on allies and enemies and increases the Attack Bar of all ally monsters by 30%. This effect can’t be resisted. Tiana can also deal quite some damage with her other skills, making her very useful for Arena, and Guild content.

Triton – Sea Emperor:

Type: Defense
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Like Tiana, Triton can also remove beneficial effects on enemies, but he also decreases their Attack Bar by 25%. With “Sweeping Waves,” he also silences all enemy monsters for 2 turns. Monsters under the Silence effect won’t be able to use skills with cooldowns, excluding passive skills.

Hathor – Desert Queen:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Tower of Ascension

Probably one of the best units to control enemies. Hathor can decrease the Attack Bar, and sleep all enemy monsters for 2 turns. With “Sweet Dreams,” she removes all beneficial effects and puts the target into sleep for 1 turn after that.

In combination with Ganymede, players can sleep enemy monsters for the entire battle, making her a massive threat if we don’t have Immunity on our side.

Ganymede – Fairy King:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Ganymede is a fantastic unit, to support monsters that have long cooldowns like Pernas self-revive. By using his other skill “Ventilate” on an ally monster, he instantly readies all skills of the target, including passive skills (can not be used on himself anymore).

However, with his third skill, “Seal Magic,” Gany is also able to increase the target’s skill cooldown to the max and reduces the Attack Bar of all enemies to 0. Works fantastic with units like Hathor, Perna, or Seara.

Feng Yan – Panda Warrior:

Type: Defense
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild Siege, Guild War

Solid unit in PvP content that is able to solo entire teams without help. Whenever Feng Yan gets attacked, his Attack Bar will increase by 20% because of his passive skill “Winds and Clouds.”

Also, he can remove all harmful effects cast on himself by using the second skill, which gives HP recovery over time and makes him counterattack for 2 turns. If he weakens the Defense with his first skill on a target, he deals a lot of damage.

Diana – Unicorn:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

Diana is a monster that can get a lot of turns because of her passive skills. In her Unicorn Form, her Attack Bar gets increased by 15% each time an ally gets attacked. In her Human Form, she increases her Attack Bar by 25% each time she lands a critical hit. With her skill “Inevitable Wound,” she attacks 4 times, removes a beneficial effect each attack, and inflicts continuous damage for 1 turn if she succeeds in removing an effect.

Most players rune her with high Critical Rate, so she lands a critical hit whenever using “Inevitable Wound,” so she immediately gets another turn. Powerful monster in the Arena.

Louise – Paladin:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

Strong supporter that can provide a lot of healing, Immunity, and invincibility on ally monsters. Her 44% HP leader skill for Guild content makes her a popular leader for Defense, even in high-tier Guild Wars. Louise is very annoying to go against, especially if she is fast and runed on Violent.

Taranys – Druid:

Type: Defense
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

One of the best revivers at the moment in Summoners War (Wiki). Taranys is hard to kill because of his passive skill “Patience of Beast,” which revives him with 15% HP at the moment of death. This passive increases his Defense by 10% up to 5 times, whenever he gets attacked as well. But what makes him so good are his second and third skills.

With his second skill, he deals damage according to his Defense and recovers 30% of the inflicted damage as HP. If this skill is used in his Beast Form, he will inflict 20% additional damage and transforms him back into Druid Form.

His third skill, “Forest of Living,” revives a dead ally with 30% HP. However, if all allies are alive, he will cast Soul Protection for 3 turns on all allies. If “Forest of Living” is used in the Druid Form, he will also increase the Defense of all ally monsters for 3 turns, and then transforms into the Beast Form, to Provoke all enemies for 1 turn with a chance of 50%.

Odin – Lightning Emperor:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Mystical Summon, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

Odin is very straightforward, and also uses the Knowledge system like all Lightning Emperors. But unlike Bolverk, he will ignore a target monsters defense completely, if he has 5 Knowledge. If Odin gets defeated while having Knowledge, he will be revived with 20% HP per Knowledge. Recommended rune sets are Will/Shield and an additional set like Blade or Energy.

Mephisto – Demon:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

Mephisto is a bit more situational but very useful at specific moments, as he is similar to Raki. Whenever an ally or enemy monster dies in battle, he can’t be revived while Mephisto in on the battlefield. His passive also increases the damage he inflicts on enemies by 20% each when an ally dies (up to 5 times).

If you do not own a Raki, Mephisto is a good alternative, as he can prevent revives and also deals decent damage with his second and first skills.

Savannah – Beast Rider:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War

Works excellently with lots of other monsters, especially with Barbara (Water Beast Rider). Her second skill, “Critical Link” attacks the enemy 2 times, changing beneficial effects to continuous damage, and inflicts 15% increased damage for each harmful effect granted on the enemy.

Her third skill, “Gigantic Roar” is an AoE attack, which increases the attack speed of all allies, and attacks all enemies. The Defense of all enemies gets weakened for 2 turns, if the enemy’s Defense is lower than her attack, and sets back the enemy attack bar to 0 if their attack speed is slower than hers.

Cheongpung – Art Master:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Mystical Scroll, Temple of Wishes, Wind Scroll, Legendary Scroll
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

A good supporter who can deal decent damage to enemy monsters. He shares the same second skill with Haegang, allowing him to remove all beneficial effects on all enemies, and increases the chance of landing a glancing hit for 2 turns. By using his third skill, Cheongpung will attack all enemies 3 times to decrease their Attack Bar by 50% with each attack. If the enemy’s Attack Bar is 0, he increases skill cooldowns by 1 turn.

It is recommended to pair him up with monsters that provide AoE defense break for the best results.

Best Light Nat 5 in Summoners War:

Zerath – Dragon:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Tower of Ascension

Zerath is the definition of a bruiser: extremely high HP, and massive damage. His skill “Armageddon” consumes 50% of his current HP, but deals proportionate damage to the sacrificed HP, to all enemies. He can also remove 2 harmful effects on all ally monsters, and heal their HP by 15%. Light attribute monsters will receive double the amount of healing.

Julianne – Vampire:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Julianne has a similar passive skill as Hwadam, making him a lot harder to eliminate. At the moment of death, he will absorb 10% HP from all ally monsters, to restore his HP. He can be built on full damage because of this passive. His second skill does pretty good damage, attacking a target two times, and stuns it if the attack lands as a critical hit (this skill has a 30% increased critical rate).

However, his passive does not work if all allies are at 30% HP or lower. But still, he is very useful in the Arena and Guild Siege/Wars.

Laima – Oracle:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Laima is a powerful supporter, which can protect ally monsters, heal, and remove beneficial effects to inflict continuous damage on all enemy monsters. Her third skill, “Start and End,” removes all harmful effects on all allies and grants them Immunity and Invincibility for 1 turn, and recovers 15% of their HP for 3 turns. She can be used in any PvP content without issues, thanks to her fantastic kit.

Jager – Dragon Knight:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Reliable damage dealer that can ignore all damage reduction effects on a target. Jager’s passive skill, “King’s Rage,” increases his attack power by 50% each time ally monsters are attacked or granted with harmful effects, up to 5 times. Like Laika, he can also counterattack with a 30% chance if he is attacked.

Qitian Dasheng – Monkey King:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Excellent unit to control enemy monsters. He can sleep all enemy monsters for 1 turn and decrease their attack speed for 2 turns. Qitian Dasheng shares the same second skill with Shi Hou (Water Monkey King), which allowed him to stun all enemies with a 75% chance. This attack increases his Attack Bar by 25% per stunned enemy.

Artamiel – Archangel:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Definitely, one of the most annoying monsters to go against, as Artamiel counterattacks whenever an ally receives a critical hit. At the same time, his Defense will increase by 10% (up to 5 times), and his Attack Bar rises by 10% as well.

Besides this fantastic passive skill, Artamiel also has a strong heal, and he can remove one beneficial effect with each attack. The best rune set for him is Despair/Will (or Guard), so he has the chance to stun an enemy monster every time his passive skill “Judge” is activated.

Yeonhong – Sky Dancer:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Absolutely one of the most potent healers in the game. Her skill “Charge Vitality” fills up the Attack Bar of a target ally and herself and recovers the HP by 50%. Not only that, with the second skill, but she also removes beneficial effects (3 max) and increases the Attack Bar of all allies by 15% each per beneficial effect removed.

She is extremely strong on a fast, Violent build and has a 48% Resistance leader skill for Arena Content. Overall a perfect supporter.

Nigong – Pioneer:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Another strong reviver that most players do not have. He shares the same second skill as Woosa, allowing Nigong to heal 15% HP on all ally monsters, based on his max HP. However, his third skill, “Heavenly Protection,” is why he is on this list. This skill revives all dead allies with 30% Hp and cast Soul Protection upon all allies that are alive for 3 turns.

If a monster has the Soul Protection effect, he will be revived automatically with 30% HP if he gets killed.

Pontos – Sea Emperor:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Pontos is very similar to Chloe, but a lot better. First of all, he has a 24% SPD leader skill that works everywhere (Dungeons, Arena, Guild War, Rift, Raid), and an AoE silence. Silence prevents a monster from using its skills with cooldowns, excluding passive skills.

However, this skill “Holy Ground” makes him so useful. By activating, he removes all harmful effects on all allies and grants Immunity and Invincibility for 1 turn. But depending on how many harmful effects are removed, the Immunity effect gets increased to 3 turns.

Wedjat – Horus:

Type: Defense
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Amduat is similar to his brother Wedjat because of their passive skills. However, Wedjat has different skills, as he increases the Defense of all allies for 2 turns, and decreases the chance of receiving a critical hit.

His passive “Duty of the Monarch” increases the other allies’ Attack Bar by 10% whenever Wedjat gets a turn. In addition, if allies have beneficial effects, the Attack Bar gets increased additionally based on the number of beneficial effects up to 20%.

Isis – Desert Queen:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Isis is a powerful monster in the Arena, as she can debuff the enemy with a lot of effects. Her skill “Gaze of Oblivion” silences all enemies and puts oblivion on them as well. Monsters under the oblivion status can not activate their passive skills, and silence prevents monsters from using their skills with cooldowns.

She shares the same second skill with Hathor, enabling Isis to remove all beneficial effects on a target and putting it into sleep for 1 turn.

Oberon – Fairy King:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Very strong single-target nuker, which can ignore the targets defense, and gains invincibility for 1 turn of the enemy dies. Back in the days, he could use his second skill “Ventilate” on himself, to ready his skill, but this is not possible anymore. However, other units like Ganymede can still use cooldown reducing skills on Oberon.

Tian Lang – Panda Warrior:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Excellent monster for offense and Defense. His second skill removes beneficial effects, decreases the Attack Bar of enemy monsters by 15%, and stuns them for 1 turn with a chance of 25%. His passive “Strong Energy” decreases the effect of all Attack Bar increasing skills by 50% and gains 20% attack gauge whenever the enemy uses an Attack Bar increasing skill.

Celia – Harp Magician:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Celis is very annoying to deal with because of her other skill, “Nightmare Melody,” and her passive ability, “Dreamy Leader.” Nightmare Melody puts all enemies into sleep for 1 turn (50% chance) and inflicts continuous damage for 2 turns, with a 50% chance.

Her passive skill removes one beneficial effect on a random enemy every turn and puts the enemy to sleep if the effect is successfully removed.

Eleanor – Unicorn:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Viable supporter for Arena content, which also works in other PvP areas. Like Amelia, she also has the passive skill “Blessed Wings,” which grants Immunity on all allies for 1 turn ever turn. But she decreases the chance of receiving a critical hit on all allies, instead of increasing their Defense. This skill also removes all harmful effects on every ally.

Jeanne – Paladin:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Fusion Hexagram
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Strong monster for Guild War defense and offense. Jeanne can provoke all enemy monsters for 2 turns, and immediately gets another turn. Another skill of her removes all harmful effects on a target, and grants invincibility for 1 turn. A decent combo is to provoke all enemies and then using her second skill on herself, to get invincible for 1 turn.

Her first skill is also not bad either, as she stuns the enemy with a chance of 15%, and heals the HP of an ally with the lowest HP by 10%.

Narsha – Beast Rider:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

High-speed unit with serious single-target damage. Narsha’s passive skill “Wild Chase” increases her attack speed by 35% each time an enemy takes a turn, up to 5 times. However, the increases attack speed resets when her turn ends. But she decreases the enemy’s Attack Bar by 30% with each attack.

Her second skill, “Critical Link” does increase damage the faster her attack speed. His skill is the same as Savannah’s skill. This skill will attack two times, and the beast’s attack changes all beneficial effects granted on the target to Continuous Damage for 1 turn, and the rider’s attack inflicts damage that increases by 15% for each harmful effect granted on the target.

Hanwul – Art Master:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Solid DPS unit, which can ignore all enemy’s passive skills with his third skill, “Final Touch.” This skill deals massive damage to all enemies, and cannot be counterattacked. With his second skill, he will seal one enemy into a scroll for a designated period. This period increases based on his attack speed.

Definitely one of the best Nat 5 monsters in Summoners War!

Best Dark Nat 5 in Summoners War:

Zeratu – Chimera:

Top tier Arena monster. Giana can place a bomb on one enemy, just like Seara, and is also able to remove all beneficial effects on all enemies. If she removes a beneficial effect from a monster, it then will get stunned for 1 turn. With Giana, you do not have to worry about Will runes.

Ragdoll – Dragon Knight:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Live Arena, Arena, Guild Siege

Also a top tier Arena unit. Ragdoll’s passive “Tooth For a Tooth” reflects 15% of damage back to the enemy and increases the Attack Bar of all ally monsters by 10% if an ally receives a critical hit. If his HP falls below 30%, he can ignore a target monsters defense entirely, enabling him to one-shot any monster in the game.

Fermion – Archangel:

Type: Defense
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Arena, Guild Siege, Live Arena

Most durable monster in Summoners War. Fermion’s passive skill “Dominator” decreases received damage to a high extend, the more ally monsters are alive. The more ally dies, he will inflict more damage. Also, the enemy he attacks will be provoked for 1 turn.

This unit has one of the highest base defense (878 Def) in the entire game, which makes his first and second skill even stronger, as both of them scale with Defense.

Woonsa – Pioneer:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Live Arena, Arena, Guild Siege

Strong supporter for Arena content, especially against teams that grant beneficial effects.

His second skill removes up to 2 beneficial effects on a target and blocks receiving beneficial effects for 2 turns as well. His skill “Inhale Magic” steals 15% HP of all enemies and all beneficial effects. Afterwards, he increases the Attack Bar of all allies by 20%, if he successfully stole beneficial effects.

Sylvia – Neostone Agent:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Strong monster that works well with units that have a strong first skill, like Verdehile or Theomars. Her passive “Best Parter” selects one random ally that attacks with Silvia during her turn.

With her second skill, she can remove all beneficial effects on a target, and if two or more effects got removed, the Attack Bar of all allies would be increased by 20% each.

Thebae – Anubis:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Awesome bruiser with high HP and awesome skills. The second and third skill both scale with his max HP and can deal massive damage to enemy monsters. His second skill, “Soul Devourer,” heals Thebae by 50% of the damage done, so he also has some self-sustain.

Nephthys – Desert Queen:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Fantastic unit for Arena content, thanks to her strong passive skill “Deadly Charm.” This passive increases the skill activation chance by 20%, and enemies can not resist the skill effects Neohtys applies to them. In addition, she also silences the target for 1 turn every time she attacks.

In combination with her passive, she has the skill “Curse of the Beautiful,” which attacks all enemies 3 times to decrease their Defense, increase the chance of landing a glancing hit, and disturbs the HP recovery for 2 turns.

Vivachel – Harp Magician:

Type: Support
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

An excellent supporter who is very similar to Harmonia, as both share the same second skill, “Healing Music.” This skill removes all harmful effects on one ally and recovers the HP by 20% of all allies each. Her most powerful ability, “Song of Switched Destiny,” switches the current Attack Bar and HP of one target, but puts Vivachel to sleep for 1 turn. This effect can’t be resisted and ignores the Immunity effect.

Leona – Paladin:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Decent bruiser for Guild and Arena content. If awakened, she can stun an enemy with a chance of 100% (fully skilled) with her first skill. Her second skill, “Fury of Punishment,” attacks two times an enemy and removes beneficial effects with each attack. Afterwards, Leona will counterattack whenever she gets attacked for 2 turns.

Her passive skill, “Internal Force,” is also handy. When the battle begins, it will balance the defense and attack power of Leona, so the stat with the lower value will have the same value as the stat with the higher value. Also, it creates a shield equivalent to her Defense for 2 turns when she is attacked and increases the damage she inflicts to an enemy by 30%.

Pater – Druid:

Type: HP
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Good supporter that provides passive healing in Beast Form, and is able to remove harmful effects on all allies. With “Moonlight Grace,” Pater removes all harmful effects and grants Immunity for 2 turns on all allies, and then transforms to his Beast Form, to provoke all enemies with a 50% chance for 1 turn.

By using the second skill “Wild Blow” in Beast Form, Pater will attack one enemy to inflict damage proportionate to his max HP and recovers 30% of the inflicted damage as HP. Transforms into Druid Form afterward.

Herteit – Lightning Emperor:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Strong monster in specific situations. With his passive skill “Endless Desire,” Herteit absorbs 25% (10% instead if it’s a boss) of his attack power and Defense per Knowledge from the enemy targets attack power and Defense. In addition, if he has 5 Knowledge, he steals all beneficial effects granted on the enemy and instantly gains another turn.

Beelzebub – Demon:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Guild War, Guild Siege, Arena, Live Arena

Strong unit in Arena content, and extremely fun to play with. If Beelzebub kills an enemy monster with his attack, a dead ally will be revived with HP thats the same amount of the damage that was dealt to the enemy target. In addition, if an ally dies while Beelzebub is dead, he will be revived will little HP and a 100% Attack Bar.

His second skill, “Madness Judgement,” ignores a portion of the enemy’s Defense. The less HP Beelzebub has, the more Defense will be ignored. I highly recommend giving him a Vampire set for maximum fun.

Xiana – Beast Rider:

Type: Attack
Obtainable in: Scroll of Light & Darkness, Temple of Wishes
Useful for: Arena, Live Arena, Guild War, Guild Siege

Very similar to Savannah, but still an excellent unit. She has the same second skill “Fast Link” like Mahsa and Barbara, which weakens the enemy’s Defense for 1 turn, and absorbs the Attack Bar by 25% for each harmful effect granted on the target.

Her third skill, “Late Night Ambush” is a bit different from the others, as the beast’s attack will set the enemies’ Attack Bar to 0, and the rider’s attack inflicts damage that increases up to 100% in proportion to the Attack Bar that the beast decreased.

Also, Mookwol will get a turn immediately afterward.

5 Ways to Acquire 5-Star Monsters

Ways to Acquire 5-Star Monsters in Summoners War

Understanding the Monster Rarity System in Summoners War

Welcome, fellow summoners! Whether you’re a battle-hardened veteran or a newcomer eager to join the fray, understanding the game’s monster rarity system is crucial to your success in Summoners War.

Essentially, monsters are ranked by stars, with five being the highest – the cream of the crop, the rarest of the rare.

These are the beasts you’ll want by your side in the most challenging battles, carrying unmatched abilities and stats. Yet, obtaining them can be akin to finding a needle in a haystack. But fear not! That’s exactly where we come in.

The Essence of Summoning: Using Your Scrolls Wisely

Scrolls are your keys to summoning powerful creatures in the game. Mystical Scrolls, Legendary Scrolls, Light and Dark Scrolls—each offering its own unique potential for greatness. So, make no mistake, using them judiciously is the bread and butter of your monster-hunting journey.

Some of them even guarantee a four-star monster or higher! Yet, to summon a coveted five-star beast, you’ll need a sprinkle of strategy, a pinch of planning, and a generous dash of patience.

Getting the Most Out of Events and Missions

Who doesn’t love a bonus? Especially when it nudges you closer to a five-star summon. Keep an eye on events and missions—they’re like surprise parties where you might just find that elusive five-star monster.

Take, for instance, Hall of Heroes and Secret Dungeons events, or the ever-popular Fusion Hexagram. Decipher their intricacies, ride the highs and lows, and you may end up holding the golden ticket to a five-star summon!

Crystals, Mana Stones, and the Art of Purchasing Packs

Beyond scrolls, Summoners War offers you other tools to bag five-star monsters. Crystals and Mana Stones, for instance, can be used to purchase packs, which may include Mystical Scrolls or even Legendary Scrolls.

The key here? Strategize your spending. It’s not about how much you’ve got, it’s about how well you use it!

The Endgame: Transcendence Scrolls and Summoning Pieces

Transcendence Scrolls and Summoning Pieces represent the peak of the five-star hunt. The former guarantees a five-star monster—no ifs, ands, or buts about it. However, they’re as rare as a unicorn sighting. Summoning Pieces, on the other hand, allow you to summon specific monsters if you collect enough. They offer a clear path to five-star glory if you’re willing to grind.

Now you’re armed with knowledge, summoners. Go forth and conquer, knowing that five-star glory is within your reach!
