Activision’s series Call of Duty is well known for its thrilling campaigns and entertaining multiplayer. With Call of Duty Mobile, the franchise steps into the mobile market, featuring popular game modes like Battle Royale, Team Deathmatch, Frontline, Domination, and co.
As of the 11th of July of 2020, Call of Duty Mobile does not have a campaign mode. While removing Zombies from COD Mobile on the 25th of March, the development team focuses on improvements for Battle Royale and regular multiplayer.
Besides this, it is questionable if a campaign mode will get introduced to Call of Duty Mobile, as the game is already over 2GB in size. Also, it would cost a lot of money to create an entirely new campaign.
Still, many users on Reddit would be happy to see a campaign, or at least something similar in CODM. Inside the campaign, there could be challenges and achievements that players can complete to earn exclusive skins, COD Points, weapons, and more.
New Update:
Play Alone to Have the Feel of The Campaign:
Call of Duty Mobile, as of my last updat, primarily focuses on its multiplayer experience. However, it does offer a single-player experience in the form of its Battle Royale mode. In this mode, players can choose to go solo against 99 other players, providing a unique single-player experience within the multiplayer framework.
Also, the game also includes a Practice vs. AI mode, where players can hone their skills against AI-controlled opponents.
Remember that COD mobile requires an active internet connection to play. This is because the game’s primary modes, including Multiplayer and Battle Royale, are online-based. While this may limit the game’s accessibility in areas with poor internet connectivity, it allows for real-time gameplay with players around the world.
Final Words
While the Battle Royale mode offers a single-player experience, the core of Call of Duty Mobile is its multiplayer modes. These modes, which include Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search and Destroy, among others, allow players to team up and compete against others. For me, the multiplayer aspect of the game is what makes it so dynamic and engaging, as it allows for real-time combat with players worldwide.
