What headset do pro Call of Duty players use?

In Call of Duty, it is crucial to have a decent gaming headset, as sound is one big aspect of the game. Being able to hear an enemy player before the encounter enables pro players to react properly.

Popular headsets which Call of Duty players use are the HyperX Cloud II, Logitech G Pro, and the Sennheiser Game Zero. Such headsets feature surround sound, which makes it easier to locate sound sources.

In tournaments, you can see that pros wear two types of headphones simultaneously: a pair of earbuds and a gaming headset on top. Players wear both of them, so they only hear the game sounds and not the surrounding environment, which can get quite loud at big events.

Note: The gaming headset plays white noise, a random signal having equal intensity at different frequencies, while the earbuds transfer the game sounds.

However, at most tournaments and big events, pro players can use any headset of their choice.

Here are a few other gaming headsets that work excellent with Call of Duty:

What is the best brand for gaming headsets?

There are many gaming brands on the market, which sell various gadgets, accessories, and more (including headsets). Largely known brands are Razer, Corsair, SteelSeries, Roccat, Logitech, or Sennheiser.

Some of the most popular gaming headsets are from brands like Razer, SteelSeries, Logitech, Sennheiser, and HyperX. However, there is no best brand for gaming headsets in general, as the design strategie varies from brand to brand.

That said, if you’re looking for a new gaming headset, I recommend looking at the well-known brands first, as they tend to have the best quality. If you don’t want to spend too much money on a headset, you should rather take a look on Amazon, as you can some excellent models for a fair price.

In terms of price, Razer, Corsair, Logitech, and co. tend to be more expensive. However, going cheap can lead to bad quality and sound, so you should ideally spend between $50 to $150.

For this money, it’s possible to get excellent models from Razer, Steelseries, and Sennheiser, as most mid-range gaming headsets cost between $50 to $100.
